Timothy P. Cusack

 

Born and raised in New Brunswick, Tim has called Alberta home since 1993.  He published his second collection of poems " Just west of East " in 2001 and has since been published in a variety of journals and magazines.  Featured on CBC radio and television,  Tim was the national winner o f the 2005 CBC Poetry Face-Off and is a word columnist on CBC Edmonton AM radio as " Time the Word Wizard."  He is an active member of many local poetry and writing groups including the Stroll of Poets, Raving Poets and of course Poets Ink!.  Also known to dabble in the arts of acting, music, winemaking and entertaining, Tim is a Maritime Surface Officer in the Naval Reserve, and an educator serving with Edmonton Catholic Schools.  He resides in St. Albert with his wife Susan and three sons: Patrick, Nicholas and Ian
