Celebrate Alberta’s literary and
artistic heritage at Poetry at Stephan’s House on
Sunday, June 24 from 2 - 6 pm. This special event
showcases the stanzas of Stephan G. Stephansson
(“Poet of the Rocky Mountains”) and contemporary
Alberta poets and their works. Join us for a
fun-filled afternoon of poetry, live music and
theatre, games and goodies for the entire family. An
open stage program starting at 2 pm features poets,
storytellers, live music and a short drama. A
variety of children's crafts and activities are
included in this event and everyone will have the
opportunity to learn about pioneer life and
Icelandic immigration through tours with costumed
interpreters.
